What we did last week was that we went to two community
service projects near our school. They looked kind of small from the outside,
but in the inside was big. We learned how they help the people and what they do
there for a certain amount of time. What we did there was we got a tour of the
Georgia Justice Project and the Genesis Shelter and we got to see the rooms. I learned
that they keep the families at the Genesis Shelter for six months. They have babies
from newborn to six months. The community service is valuable because you are
giving time to help them and giving things like food and clothing and toys that
they need. We are collecting things that
the families need for the Genesis Shelter. We are collecting things from people
around our school.so we can bring it to the Genesis Shelter for the homeless families
there.
